A true cycling city, Copenhagen was ready for this stage of the Rains Bike rides. The last stop for Rains Bike summer, for now. After meeting at our Amagertorv store, everyone moved through the city on the ultra-sleek, all black hybrid bikes. The definition of urban minimalism.

The next stage of Rains Bike summer took place in Paris—a place famed for its aesthetics. Guests were gifted Bike 02 — finished in sleek khaki — to use when weaving through the city’s iconic avenues and along the Seine.

A spaceship of focus perched on the hills surrounding Denmark’s second largest city: Aarhus. Rains’ headquarters is a reflection of both its history and ambition.

Materials and Innovation
Our starting point to product sustainability is found in safety and durability, by developing products that are safe to wear for people and, in the long run, have less impact on the planet. Rains has specifically chosen PU-coating as its signature, as it is significantly more environmentally friendly than its hormone disrupting alternatives: PVC and DWR-PFC.

With a holistic approach to sustainability, we aim to make responsible choices in every part of our business, including the way we design and operate our stores and offices, as well as how we move our products around the globe.
Longevity
Longevity has shown to be one of the most influential parameters for improving environmental impacts. In other words: the longer a raincoat lasts, the smaller its annual environmental impact will be. In this case, product care and maintenance are essential aspects of Rains sustainability initiatives.
